An Unforgettable Evening for a Remarkable Cause

What an extraordinary night it was! I want to extend my heartfelt thanks and deepest gratitude to everyone who supported, donated, and joined us for Freddie’s Elton John Charity Fundraising Dinner on Saturday evening.
Thanks to your incredible generosity and kindness, I am thrilled to share that we raised a phenomenal £11,764.50 on the night! Among this, the beautiful watercolour portraits captured on the evening raised a staggering £254.50 — thank you for your thoughtful contributions and for taking home a special piece of art.
The evening was nothing short of magical — filled with laughter, emotion, and community spirit. From the fantastic auction and raffle with some truly amazing prizes, to the moving and heartfelt speeches, including one from the consultant who played a vital role in saving Freddie’s life — every moment resonated deeply.
The Elton John tribute act was a true highlight, and the dance floor was buzzing with energy as guests sang and danced the night away. It was an evening of fun, celebration, and above all, purpose.
As many of you know, Freddie is now training hard to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in June, marking two years in remission. His mission: to raise awareness of rare blood cancers and support WISHH (Working Independently to Support Hull Hospitals) and The Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Trust at Castle Hill Hospital.
Having faced these challenges firsthand, Freddie is passionately committed to giving back and helping others on similar journeys. With your continued support, Freddie has now raised over £40,000 — an incredible achievement that reflects both his determination and the power of community.
